Highlights:
Several particularly vocal Carolina Wrens greeted us throughout the walk.
The Letort Spring was calm with some foot traffic despite the season, offering plenty of sights and sounds for birders.
A beautiful pair of Great Blue Herons was spotted along the stream.
The group spent approximately one hour walking the trail and covering about a mile. Conditions were cool but clear, with minimal wind—perfect for birding.
